INTEGRATED YOGA SESSIONS

FOR INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS

Namaste! Want to learn authentic Yoga from the source? Yoga is much more than trying to get your body into the perfect pose. It's not only an exercise class for those who are already flexible. Far too much of the Yoga around today is a commercial and diluted version of the real thing. Yoga is a system for bringing mind-body-spirit into deep alignment and a path for us to realise the inherent bliss of our true nature. Yoga means the whole, it's about birthing yourself into a mature, sovereign and integrated being.
Using tools that we all have - our breath, body posture and sound - supports us to make the shift from fight and flight into rest and digest. In a short while, we feel the system palpably start to rejuvenate. The benefits of Yoga are known to heal the side effects of the fast and disconnected lifestyle that most of us have today. A single Yoga session will help you to relax an overactive mind, activate the intelligence of the body, and release stuck energy. A regular Yoga practice is deeply transformative.
The wisdom of yoga has had a profound, enhancing impact on my Life, every time I've practiced with any consistency. When we meet the World with a grounded, uplifted and balanced inner state, our whole experience of Life-out-there changes. This is probably the real reason why it's still around after thousands of years.
My first encounter with Yoga was over the long school holidays. I was a chubby and irreverent teenager who could use some exercise after too many mangoes - they really are delicious and one of the big highlights of summer in India. I was roped in by my friends' mother, who had organised for a monk to teach a group of us at 6 am everyday.
I rediscovered Yoga as a busy adult keeping up with the fast pace of central London. Yoga classes twice a week, helped me to de-stress, unwind and nourish my body. This liaison continued through the birth of my two children who are both teenagers now.
Healing from cancer and early menopause at 42, I returned to the deeper wisdom of Yoga. I was on a quest to regain my vitality and the joy of being alive. When I discovered Kriya techniques of the Himalayan Yogis, I was blown away by their potency. Kriyas are combinations of breath-movement-sound that have been practiced, developed and shared by Masters to enliven and balance our energetic body. They work on all our layers - including the subtle ones we aren't ordinarily aware of - to gradually increase the experience of inner bliss.
If you've worked with Kriya techniques before, you'll know what I mean. If you haven't, I encourage you to book your first session. As a teacher, I love sharing this liberating knowledge with others and look forward to being your guide. Let's practice together and experience the transformative power of Yoga.
